Forest Creature Birthday

 For: Claire
Occasion: her birthday

For Claire's birthday card, I did a watercolor of a whimsical forest friend with antlers and leaves to boot! Claire is one of the most amazing spirits I've ever known and is celebrating this year's birthday with a three-day old baby! I hope she has an incredible year filled with love and care. On to 2026, dearest loves!

Hooray Birthday

For Riley's birthday card, I drew a very happy smattering of confetti with a delightful "HOORAY" popping off the page! I hope Riley has an amazing birthday and is looking forward to lots of color and fun this year!

Musical Christmas Tree

 For: The Walsh-Rocks
Occasion: Christmas

To thank the Walsh-Rocks for hosting me on Christmas, I created this lovely tree from ripped green paper with music notes on it! I could not be happier with how this card turned out, and I am so thankful to have been included in all the merriment! I love these folks so much and am sending warm wishes for a beautiful new year.

Rebounder Christmas

 For: The Twin
Occasion: Christmas

Twin has recently gotten into rebounding, aka mini-trampoline workouts! Turns out it's the most fun exercise in the entire world. To help Twin celebrate Christmas this year, I drew a group of elves each on their own rebounder spelling out "ho ho ho"! This card idea brought me so much joy and I am so grateful for all the care and delight Twin brought to my life this past year!

Rube Goldberg Christmas

 For: Adam
Occasion: Christmas

Adam is into all things science-y, Crunch Lab-y, and engineer-y, so for his Christmas card this year, I created an elaborate holiday-themed Rube Goldberg machine! It was so much fun to conceptualize and I love that the final intention is to dunk a cookie in milk. I also had a fun time with the Easter Egg of the letter to Santa that asks for Pokemon cards. I have had so much fun hanging out with Adam this Christmas and hope Santa brings him everything he wishes for!

"I Want A" Christmas

 For: Owen
Occasion: Christmas

For Owen's Christmas pageant this year, he performed a song I had never heard of! Its lyrics feature a list of wishes that increase in bizarreness from a kitten to a chicken, lobster, rhino and finally to a submarine. To capture this beautiful moment in his Christmas life, I drew the entire cast of wishes in an ocean scene, with all the gifts with nervous systems in a raft. I adore sweet O so and have had so much fun spending holiday time together!

Tree Chart Christmas

 For: Nathan
Occasion: Christmas

Nathan is the biggest fan of Christmas trees I have ever known! To help him celebrate Christmas this year, I created the sweetest pie chart depicting "The Best Parts About Christmas" with pieces of the pie for decorations. party mix, family, snow, lights, cocoa, games, and movies. The biggest piece of all is so spectacularly decorated it doesn't require a label: Christmas Trees, of course! I adore brother bear so and have had so much fun hanging out with him this season!

Cat Christmas Stocking

 For: Alex
Occasion: Christmas

For Alex's Christmas card this year, I created a sweet illustration of their beloved Catsby hanging in a stocking! I have such fun drawing this cat whenever I can and hope Alex enjoys lots of Christmas snuggles with the little guy!

Cold Christmas

 For: Amy
Occasion: Christmas

Amy is one of the coldest humans I know! To help her celebrate the holiday season, I created this illustration of her wrapped up in a delightfully large scarf. I love how cozy she looks and how even though you can only see a bit of her, it's a spot on representation! I hope Ames has had an amazing holiday season and is looking forward to temperature-regulated fun in 2026!

Water Christmas

 For: Dad
Occasion: Christmas

For my dad's Christmas card this year, I created a watery scene where the reflection of the Christmas star reflecting on the ocean waves to create a tree scene! I love how this card turned out so much and hope Dad has great hopes for a lovely 2026.

Santa Sweater

 For: Mom
Occasion: Christmas

To help Mama celebrate the holiday, I drew her the sweetest little Santa in a quilted sweater! This design is a bit of an homage to a beloved Santa doll that The Twin and I accidentally destroyed in our youth -- we both still feel guilty about it to this day! But hopefully this likeness will help bring holiday cheer.
