To help Adam and Owen celebrate a spooky and fun Halloween, I did a drawing of two cutie ghosts floating so that their eyes are the Os in a big creepy "Boooo!" I adore my little buds and hope they had the very best celebration!

 

Cake Banner Birthday

 For: Alyssa
Occasion: her birthday

To help celebrate Alyssa's birthday, I did a drawing of a sprinkly cake with ombre layers with a sweet little "Happy Birthday!" banner and a candle on top. I love the metallic detailing and really hope Alyssa and family had a great time celebrating her big day! 

Polaroid Birthday

For Theresa's birthday card, I painted a watercolor of a forest in warm yellow light peaking through the trees! I added in my scrawliest handwriting to write a "Happy Birthday, Theresa!" message to capture some authentic Polaroid photo vibes. I adore Theresa so much and hope she has a wonderful birthday!

Fishing Birthday

To celebrate Uncle Jim's birthday, I made some silly bright fish swimming around a hook with a tiny cake on it! The candle has been extinguished due to the water and I wonder who is going to bite! I am just so pleased with how this card looks and I hope it helped shepherd in a great birthday!

Space Birthday

 For: Tom
Occasion: his birthday

What's this? Tom-Tom gets a somewhat normal birthday card from me? He has been reading The Expanse books along with me (surpassed me, actually), and so to celebrate what we've been talking about for the last year, I did a watercolor galaxy painting! With a little spaceship to boot. Tom is a dear friend of mine and I hope this next year is, *ahem* out of this world. 

Olive Garden Birthday

For Lidia's birthday card, I did a watercolor illustration of the iconic Olive Garden Soup, Salad, and Breadstick combo. This was our jam in high school, and such a great deal! I miss Lids a ton and hope to get together soon!

Birthday Vibes

For Daissy's birthday card, I used some big block letters with geometric colors inside to wish some "Birthday Vibes". Daissy is a big fan of her birthday and celebrates for weeks and weeks -- I hope this helped keep the party going!

For Chris's birthday card this year, I did a simple illustration of a sprinkle-y cupcake with a single candle and a long blue shadow. It's been a while, and I hope Chris and fam had a great time celebrating his birthday!

Noel Birthday

Marie and I both adore Noel Fielding, and given his current gig as a presenter on the Great British Baking Show, I thought an illustration of him holding a birthday cake would be just the ticket. I hope Marie has an incredible day and is ready for a year full of excitement!

Aspen Birthday

To give Johnson some Colorado fall for his birthday, I created a peep into an Aspen forest. The leaves are a touch sparse, as we're past peak yellow in the high country, but it's fally and wonderful all the same! I used some gold accents to help the card really pop. I hope Johnson had a great day, and I hope to see him again soon!

Cake Mountain Cycling Birthday

 For: Conor
Occasion: his birthday

To celebrate Conor's birthday, I drew a maaaaaany layer cake stretching high up in the sky and into the clouds. Since it's a formidable mountain, of course there are a few cyclists trying to tackle the feat. I am really pleased with how clever this card is and was so glad to hear that Conor liked it! I hope he has an amazing day to kick off a year full of cycling adventures.

For Krystina's birthday card this year, I created some vibrant flowers on a purple background to celebrate!  I love the richness of these colors and the overall happy vibe. I hope it helped set the right tone for her birthday!

 

Pizza Collage Birthday

To celebrate Dare's birthday, I did a collage of a pizza with some candles in it. Finding the papers for this one was really fun. We've got origami paper and an old car calendar in here, people! I just love how this turned out (look at that gooey cheese!) and can't wait to celebrate Dare a bit this weekend, too.

To help celebrate Aunt Sherry's birthday, I did a watercolor of her riding a forested path with some great fall colors heralding autumn! I love how happy, festive, and colorful this card turned out, and hope Aunt Sherry gets to enjoy lots of wonderfully brisk bike rides this season!
