Head in Clouds Birthday

To help dear cousin Tommy celebrate his birthday, I drew an image of him with his head in the clouds, with just a party hat peaking out! I love that the balloon is helping with the party paraphernalia floating in the sky. Tommy is a really cool and creative guy, so I hope he enjoyed this playful card.

M Birthday

To help Aunt Mary celebrate her birthday, I drew the prettiest letter M I ever have with some polka dots, flowers, and gold accents. I have loved getting to see Aunt Mary so many times this year and I hope we have many opportunities this next year, too!

Golden Anniversary Invites

To help celebrate the monumental feat that is 50 years of marriage, I made invitations for the big anniversary party! I loved using golds and yellows to help make the invitations formal, but fun. It was a treat to share my art with the larger Keane sphere,  and we had such a great time celebrating (venue change, schmenu change!).

We had a fabulous time celebrating my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary at The River, and to help mark the occasion, I made this card with all the golds I have access to! I love that it came out with a 70s vibe (which happens when you mix greens and golds!). I have loved witnessing Dan and Janet's love for each other, and I hope they have many more happy years together. 

Goat Birthday

Gina lives on a goat farm! For her birthday card this year, I drew the cutest little buddy I could imagine in a party hat. I adore my Gina-bean and am so glad we got the chance to catch up recently. I hope she has the best day ever!

Card Wedding

 For: Molly and Barry
Occasion: Their Wedding

To help Molly and Barry celebrate their nuptials, I created this illustration based off a playing card design with their arms interwoven each holding a heart flower. These two have really been through it, both with wedding planning in COVID and just living during COVID, and I am so glad that they got to have an amazing party to celebrate their love! Can't believe I missed the one that actually happened, but am hoping this token of love helped them celebrate in my stead. 

Running Birthday

For Augie's birthday card, I did an illustration of him running super fast! His race bib reads "722" which happens to be his birthdate -- what a fun detail. I hope Augs has a great birthday and is looking forward to an awesome year of running!

Dice Birthday

John is big into D&D, and turning 24, so for his birthday card this year I tried my hand at a 20-sided die and a 4-sided die to give us a 24 roll! I have no idea if this combo is accurate, but I am pleased that my 20-sided die-drawing skills are improving. I hope John has a great day and has lots of fun campaigns this year!

Portrait Birthday

 For: Brenda
Occasion: her birthday

I absolutely adore Brenda, and was so excited to have a chance to celebrate her for her birthday! I did an illustration trying to capture her essence and beauty, and though one can't capture such things on a paper, I am pleased with how it turned out. I am always wishing the best for my first CCP workshop-buddy, and hope she has the best year!

Frog Birthday

Kim loves frogs, so to help her celebrate her birthday this year, I drew this happy little friend with a "Hop, Hop, Hooray!" message in gold. Kim has a lot to celebrate, as she's just retired, too! I hope she had a great day and is looking forward to whatever this year brings. 

 

Campfire Birthday

To help Uncle Tom celebrate his big day, I did an illustration of two furry friends heating marshmallows over a fire. My brain got caught on the idea that he would enjoy camping (I don't know if that's actually true!), so I leaned in and featured a friendly scene. I think Uncle Tom is just the best and I hope he enjoyed his day, out in nature or otherwise!

Sweet Wedding Card

My dearest Claire is marrying her dearest Jer this weekend, and I am so excited for their marriage to officially start! I barely know Jeremy but have threatened him out of love so many times that I expect the happy couple will have un-ending happiness. I can't wait to see pics of the nuptials! 

Birthday Lilies

Sandie let me know she was going to an immersive Monet exhibit to celebrate her birthday, so I attempted to nod to the style of the master of lilies by putting some cakes on the lily pads! I am a particular fan of the reflections of the cake in the water. I adore Sandie so and appreciate her continued professional guidance and support after all these years!
