Travel Birthday

Christina is a traveler extraordinaire, so for her birthday card I filled a watercolor suitcase with all the party essentials: a party hat, fork and knife, greeting card, champagne bottle, sunglasses, cake, glass, and balloon! I was so pleased to learn that the bright yellow was vibing with her current hair style, too! I adore Christina and hope she has just the best year possible!

For Alex's birthday card this year, I did a watercolor of a wooden sign that features a beautiful mountain sunset landscape on the signs! I then paired it with a thin wooden background for an extra earthy flair. I think Alex is just the best and I hope he goes on lots of adventures this year!

Crossword Congrats

My intern Emmy completed her placement with me this year! To celebrate and thank her for her incredible work, I made a crossword card that features some important words of her success: Congrats, Library, Internship, Emmy, and MSW! It was a real treat for me to work with her this past year, and I wish her nothing but the best as she continues her education!

Kitchen Birthday

Jess has the best kitchen stuff, so to celebrate her birthday this year, I adapted an illustration of pitchers, bowls, tea cups, and other implements to be festive for her big day. Paired with a "Happy Birthday, Jess!" message, this card is ready for some spring fun!

Baked Good Birthday

Occasion: her birthday

To celebrate Lexi's birthday, I featured a watercolor of some happy baked goods on her card! With a cinnamon roll and a happy cupcake, she is all set to have a wonderful day. I hope all is well and she enjoys and extra sweet year!

Mother's Day Spa

Occasion: Mother's Day

To wish my Mother-in-law a happy mother's day, I did a quick illustration of her wrapped up and enjoying a spa day with cucumbers on her eyes and a fruity beverage in hand! I know preparing for the journey up north isn't the most relaxing experience, so I hope once she arrives safely she's able to unwind a bit. How lovely that she will get to see most of the children and grandkids on the trip!

Laundry Mother's Day

Occasion: Mother's Day

To celebrate Mother's day and pay homage to a ridiculous amount of laundry done before we all took over our own, I did an illustration of a laundry machine sudsing with the text "Love You Loads!" I have lots of memories of folding laundry with Mom in the living room, and I fully appreciate the efforts now, though I'm sure it escaped me at the time. Here's hoping the laundry is more manageable now!

Petal Birthday

Liz is super creative, and so for her birthday card, I made an illustration of a lady with an elaborate petal hair piece in purple monochrome, minus silver and gold. I hope this next year is a great one for Liz and crew!

Birthday Plants

For Aunt Lauren's birthday card, I made some wacky plants from my green print papers and put them in some brightly colored pots! I figured this year is the one we all became friends with our houseplants, so I hope they provided some company on her big day and all year.

To help celebrate Luke's first birthday as a married man, I did a papercut of a foam finger and made it 3D on a paper spring! Paired with a "Happy Birthday!" message, it doesn't get more sporty than this, folks!

Cloud Baby Shower

For Jackie's baby shower, I made the happiest little confetti cloud raining the rainbowiest rain drops! I am so excited for Jackie to be a mama and can't wait for little miss to arrive!
